Our History
When Maharaja Shri Krushnkumarsinhji went to visit the victoria memorial School for the blind-Mumbai in 1928, he came in contact with the blind pupil named Natu Dolat Oza of Umrala Village of Bhavnagar State. The Maharaja said to him- ‘Why are you here in Mumbai?’ Natu respectfully replied the Maharaja that there wasn`t any school for the blind at Bhavnagar or in any nearby state. The Maharaja was impressed by the innocent reply of Natu and awarded him for gaining first number in nylon knitting work of the chair.
