Nataraj Cerebral Palsy School and Center

What is it?

Cerebral Palsy is a persistent disorder of movement and posture caused by developmental non-progressive dysfunction of brain. This disorder is not caused by hereditary and even though it cannot be completely corrected, it may improve as the child’s nervous systems matures. This condition delays developmental milestones and can create impairment in posture, movement, speech and vision.

Established in 2010, the CP Centre at the Nataraj Special School for children is a state-of-art facility that has been designed to be barrier-free with appropriate ramps, elevators and easy accessible toilets for the comfort of the children. The Centre provides accommodation, education as well as treatment. Powered with electronic gadgets, playground, music rooms, canteen and aqua therapy, it provides a 360 degree care for all students, free of cost.
